Moises & Ruth Aguirre Family
We are the Aguirre Family! We moved into the ward from Pleasant Grove, Utah. Moises was born in Tijuana, Mexico and is the youngest of 8 children and Ruth was born in southern California to parents from Guatemala. We met in a folklore dance group called Remembering Our Culture, a non-profit organization in Provo, Utah. We both were attending school at Brigham Young University and fell in love with each other and BYU! We are both the first generation college graduates and have been blessed to have received a higher education. Moises is the director for the Multicultural Student Service office and Ruth is the Field Liaison for the Graduate School of Social Work at BYU. We have 4 children that we love and then love even more when they are sound asleep! Maya is 8 years old, Ava is 5, Emilia is 3 and Xander is 1. We enjoy biking, swimming, dancing and socializing (which has been the hardest to do in quarantine). We have enjoyed meeting different families in the ward and we are excited to meet together again!
