Hi! We are Landon and Anna Winn. We got married August 21, 2021 and recently purchased our first home together in The Farm. We met on a dating app called Bumble in July 2020 during the lockdown period of Covid. We were able to spend a lot of time together, if you can imagine that, and we fell in love!
Landon grew up in this ward before his family moved to Mapleton in 2001. He is very excited to rekindle relationships with many of those who are still living in the area from when he was a little kid. He served a mission in the Philippines from 2007-2009 and when he returned, went to work for the family business; Mr. Mac. He now owns and operates (with his 3 older brothers) the two stores in Orem and American Fork. Orem has always felt like home for him and he's very happy to be here!
Anna grew up in St. George her whole life before heading to college in Cedar City. She studied Nursing at SUU and went to work as a nurse soon after graduating in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for the Cleveland Clinic in the Cardiovascular step-down unit for 18 months, before transferring to the University of Utah Cardiovascular ICU in 2014. From 2015-2018 she went to graduate school at the U of U to obtain her doctorate in Nursing Practice. She has worked as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner at the U since receiving her degree.
Landon loves playing golf, the Utah Jazz, and traveling to anywhere that is warm. Anna loves organizing and being outside, especially in the garden (which we don't have yet, but are working to finish our landscape this fall). She also loves to travel wherever Landon plans the next vacation. We don't yet have any plans for the rest of the year, but we are looking forward to being here in the ward and getting to know more of you! We feel very welcome and excited to plant our roots here.
